Middle School Special Education
Poynette Middle School is seeking a dynamic, motivated, Special Education Teacher who is passionate about teaching and supporting students with disabilities.

Physical Education Teacher (17-18 School Year)
Poynette Elementary/Middle School is seeking a progressive minded Physical Education teacher to contribute to a collaborative team of professionals who has the ability to incorporate the tenets of lifelong fitness into the daily habits of our students. (for the 17-18 School Year)
Qualifications: Candidates must have a student-centered teaching philosophy and a willingness to work in a team setting to develop and assess 21st century learning experiences within the PE department. Candidates should possess knowledge of Common Core standards and research-based assessment and feedback strategies. Possession or willingness to earn certification in Water Safety Instructor (WSI) is highly desired. Willingness to contribute to our co-curricular programming is also desired.
Prospective candidates are required to be licensed in:
- Physical Education (1530)
- Health Education (1910)
- Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification - Preferred, must have willingness to obtain certification
- Adaptive Physical Education (1860) - Preferred, but not required

Summer School Teacher
The School District of Poynette is seeking quality educators to fill Summer School Teaching positions. Summer school is held Monday through Thursday for three weeks from June 26- July 20, 2017. There will be no classes the week of July 3rd- 7th. Classes are from 8:30- 10:30 and/ or 10:30- 12:30 p.m. Teachers’ hours could range from 30-60 hours for the summer at the rate of $26 an hour. Teaching responsibilities could include teaching reading, math, and/ or enrichment classes. The ideal candidate will understand elementary and middle school students, know how to engage students in the content, and understand how to teach students in a variety of settings. Candidates must hold a Wisconsin teaching license.

Pool Coordinator Position Available
Poynette School District is looking for a highly organized and strong communicator to fill the Pool Coordinator position. The Pool Coordinator is responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling lifeguards and swim instructors. The position will also schedule pool supervisors, coordinate events, communicate with the community, manage both swim instruction and the pool budget, and maintain pool records.
The qualified applicant will possess the following: High School Diploma, Professional Lifeguard Certification, Water Safety Instruction Certificate, strong communication, organization, and management skills. Candidates must be able to anticipate possible safety concerns while also maintaining positive relationships with the community, students, and staff.
Pool Coordinator Approximate Hours: 15 hours (Flexible weekdays 4pm-7pm) per week during the school year and 4 hours per week during summer sessions.
Wage Range: $15-$17/per hour

Substitute Custodial Position Openings
The School District of Poynette is in need of substitute custodians on an as needed basis. Flexible work hours between 6:30 am to 11:00 pm. (first or second shift as needed). Position varies from advanced notice to “on-call” same day availability. $10 per hour
General knowledge of commercial building cleaning and cleaning equipment use
Minimum of a high school diploma
Strong communications skills - verbal and written
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to lift 50 lbs., squat, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and lift arms above your head
Ability to work in warm and cold environments
