The School District of Poynette is seeking a progressive minded Physical Education teacher to contribute to a collaborative team of professionals who has the ability to incorporate the tenets of lifelong fitness into the daily habits of our students. The successful candidate must also possess the ability to build meaningful relationships with all students in a short amount of time.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a student-centered teaching philosophy and a willingness to work in a team setting to develop and assess 21st century learning experiences within the PE department. Candidates should possess knowledge of Common Core standards and research-based assessment and feedback strategies.

The School District of Poynette is seeking a Special education paraprofessional for the 20-21 school year. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:15 am to 3:45 pm (28 hours per week). This position will provide instructional support to students with disabilities in the Elementary School.
The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds and may include working with students with disabilities. Position may also require individual to work outside during warm and cold weather. Must possess a valid driver license, excellent work habits, such as an excellent attendance record, strong personal skills, ability to work in a team, and the ability to to work effectively with students.
In order to be eligible for this position, the District requires paraprofessionals to have either: passed the ACT Workkeys exam, or have an Associates Degree, or have at least 48 credits from an accredited college/university in order to be considered highly qualified. DPI Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals Position also requires ability to accurately compute well enough to solve problems involving arithmetic, read and follow multi-step processes/directions, and ability to clearly and accurately communicate in writing/verbally.

The School District of Poynette has an immediate opening for two 12 month, full-time (40 hours/wk) custodial positions.
One position is 9:00am to 5:30pm and one is 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday – Friday. Summer hours are 40 hrs. per week working Monday - Thursday. (Please note some additional weekend overtime hours may be available/required).
Requirements:
- General knowledge of commercial building cleaning and cleaning equipment use
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Strong communications skills - verbal and written
- Valid Driver’s License
- Lift and carry objects that weigh in excess of 40 pounds
- Repeated bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
- Push/pull heavy equipment/materials, Climb ladders
- Repeatedly lift up to 25 pounds overhead
- Some repetitive motion (mopping, etc.)
