No Name Volunteers
The No Name Volunteers is an after-school group for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who would like to perform community service. Most of the meetings are Thursdays from 2:35 to 3:30 so that students are able to take the late (elementary) bus home. Sometimes there are evening meetings or special events on other days of the week. If you would like to see upcoming events for the No Name Volunteers, please check my calendar page.
The No Name Volunteers do a variety of different projects throughout the year, some at school and some out in the community. In the past we have volunteered to organize books and magazines at the Poynette Library, wash windows or run Bingo for the residents at Pioneer Place, and play with the children at Main Street Youngsters. Here at school we have provided child care for parents attending concerts, organized reward parties and activities for elementary students who met their AR goals for the quarter, and painted games, the map, and bus lines on the elementary playground. Check out our photo gallery to see what we've been up to!
