Yearbook Club is actually a desktop publishing class. It incorporates the creation of the yearbook, articles and photos for the Poynette Press, and articles and photos for a school newsletter. Work outside of the class is necessary as students must gather information in the form of interviews. The students are also ultimately responsible for taking pictures that are related to their assignments. The students are responsible for creating and marketing the yearbook. The staff helps defray the cost of the yearbook by raising money by selling snacks in our building's vending machines.
This activity is available for students in grades 9-12. The class will be filled based on seniority and class experience first. Mrs. Drew is the advisor for Yearbook Club.
