School District of Poynette-Infinite Campus Parent Portal…Making a Connection with Students & Parents

The School District of Poynette offers another communication tool for parents, students and their schools, through the Infinite Campus Portal, our district's student and grading information system. The Infinite Campus Portal connects students and parents/guardians to students’ data online, anytime, from anywhere there is internet access. Once the portal is accessed, information about only their child’s progress can be located. The portal offers the most current information for student schedules, attendance, courses and grades.

To use the Infinite Campus Portal, parents/guardians need a computer that can access the internet. (For more information see system requirements) Access to the portal can be gained from their home, work, public library or anywhere they can establish an internet connection. The portal is a free service to our district families. Instructions and training for using the portal are available.

Students are provided with their own portal accounts in all grade levels. Students do not need to request an account. Students may obtain assistance for accessing their account via their Teacher or the Technology Integration Specialist. However, Parents/Guardians must request a portal account by following the instructions below. Once any user has established a portal account, he/she will have access to the account throughout the course of the students' learning experiences in our district, provided the user follows the acceptable use policy for the portal. There is no need to annually register for a portal account.

Utilizing the portal improves communication with parents and students. Parents are utilizing the information on the portal to talk to their children about their school life, thus improving attendance, assignment completion and overall progress in school. Making this information-rich connection with parents is a clear way to improve communication between teachers, parents and students. This practice will ultimately help boost student achievement.

How do I sign up for the Parent Portal Account?

Complete the Parent Portal Activation Request Form and return it to your child’s school office, or mail it via postal mail, or fax it to 608-635-9200.

After the request form is received and verified, authorized users will receive an email which includes an access code and information on how to create a user name and password.

Infinite Campus Portal...there's an app for that...Really, There Is

The new Campus Mobile Portal app is available for free from the App StoreSM. Once the app has been installed on an Apple® iOS device (iPod Touch®, iPhone®, iPad®), parents and students can access grades, attendance and schedule information virtually anywhere. Parents/guardians with more than one student in their family can easily switch from one to another’s information with the flick of a fingertip. One awesome feature of this app is the opportunity to receive notifications. Once notifications have been enabled by the district, this feature will allow parent and student subscribers to receive notifications regarding changes to assignments, grades and attendance changes according to their individual notification preferences.It’s also integrated with the advanced, object-oriented Campus Security system, so each student in the family can only view his/her own information.
