New Portal Feature: Grades Tab
Campus Portal users can now view student grades at a glance using the Student Grades tab. Grades are viewable in two areas on this tab - Recently Graded Assignments and Grades by Course.
Recently Graded Assignments
-
Displays assignments in which a score has been saved in the last fourteen days. Unscored assignments are not listed with the exception of assignments flagged as missing or cheated.
-
If an assignment is considered dropped or exempt, it will not display.
-
Assignments marked as Turned In, Incomplete or Late only display if it has a score.
-
Selecting an assignment opens a more detailed view of the assignment.
Grades by Course
-
Each Term Schedule is displayed on a separate tab.
-
Sections are ordered alphabetically by course name.
-
Course names appear as a link if the grade book is enabled in portal options and the course has assignment detail to display selecting the link displays the full detail of the section in a new window.
-
Users can select the teacher name link to view the contact information of all teachers assigned to the section.
-
If the teacher creates newsletters for the section, these are viewable here as well.
-
In order for the Grades tab to display, it needs to be enabled in Portal Display Options. There are three additional options on the Grades tab that can also be chosen if desired:
-
Grade Book - changes the course name to a link and allows detailed viewing of the information from the Grades by Course view.
-
Newsletter - displays a link to the right of the teacher's name and allows viewing of the newsletter.
-
Term GPA - displays the student's Grade Point Average following the Grades by Course section.
