Welcome to the School District of Poynette

 Dear Friends of the School District of Poynette,

We welcome you to the School District of Poynette website and encourage you to explore the information offered on this site. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with our district students, families and communities. Our success is a result of the preparation, dedication and teamwork of our administrators, teachers, support personnel as well as our partnerships with parents and our community.

Our enrollment is approximately 1130 students. The district includes an early learning center, one elementary school, one middle school and one high school.  We are also pleased to offer the preschool program for four-year-old children in community-based childcare sites. If you are new to the community, but have not yet registered your children for school, I encourage you to complete this process soon by contacting our school offices at 608-635-4347 or click here for additional registration information.

The updated school calendar can be accessed through the link on the left, District Calendar. Note the early dismissals, late starts and other inservice days are scheduled for teacher planning and collaboration.  

The success of our district is linked to our ability to connect and communicate with community members about the opportunities and challenges of our schools.  We invite you to be part of our conversation by joining our Board meetings which are held in the high school IMC twice monthly at 7:00 p.m.  Board meeting dates, information and agendas can also be located on our district website.
